| Benjamin Linus Loves Lowell |

...and he's not afraid to let the world know.

On Last night's episode of Lost, character Ben Linus gives an undeniable shoutout to the Mill City when he checks into a hotel in Tunisia under the alias of Dean Moriarty, further proving himself the best character on the show.

Dear Preguage, Your pissing has gone too far. Whenever I happen to be unfortunate enough to accidentally sit down in a spot that you've recently tagged, I feel this nearly uncontrollable urge to chop off your yellow balls my fucking self. Friends don't piss on friends' seats. If you haven't noticed, I don't go using your litter box or "tagging" your favorite chair, I don't even sit in your chair. I sincerely hope that you take this letter as a kind gesture as opposed to what I would like to do. No more pissing. Just stop.
Dan Adam
p.s. You lazy shit, you could have easily walked the three steps to eat your own food. Fuckface.

Yes, that's right No Pilots No Demos (incarnation#2) is playing their 3rd performance tonight. This happens at about 9PM at the 119 Gallery, and is part of the events wich make up their celebration of "Kerouac Wekend". We're excited as hell to play in Lowell for the first time since the Folk Festival and hope that some people come out to hear us.

I know there's a party in town tonight too, but this is probably a better place to do ecstasy and then you can come down at that party! (that is, if you don't need the $5 cover charge to spend on pills).

[20 Sep 2006|01:11am] |

No Pilots No Demos MASCARA Uncle Shoe and the Fatback Boys Michael Gurry The Collective
We're playing this Friday at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain, MA. There are 4 other acts and we're headlining (???) which menas we'll probably go on pretty late. Come see us if you can make it out. Also, Walter Wright (W2) is going to video shred over us, which will make our performance about 300% more interesting. Keep in mind that it's at a bar and therefore is 21 plus :( sorry.

| phone charger needed |
[27 Aug 2006|07:57pm] |
My Phone charger died and I know a good number of people have Motorola/ Nextels. If anyone has an extra one of these lying around it would be awesome if they want to donate it so that I don't have to pay Motorola another $30 for a shitty product.

That or something like it would do. Let me know if you can help. Don't call me though, my phone is dead. Thank you.

A bunch of us went to see Liars at the Paradise in Boston on Friday night. It was everything I had expected it to be and more. In fact, it may be the best show I've ever seen. Since it ended it's all I've been able to think about. Their style is unlike anything I've ever heard or seen before. The music revolves mostly around the drums, which are miked in such a way that the rhythm becomes the melody. It's hard to explain really. Pick up their latest album Drum's Not Dead to hear what I'm talking about. I truly feel badly for anyone who couldn't make it/ decided not to go but I found this video on YouTube that was filmed on Friday night. Check it out to get an idea of what the performance was.
LJ doesn't enable YouTube links but here's a link to the post on the OUtlET site with the video...

hey. This is last minute, but for anyone who doesn't know (most of you do I'm certai), tomorrow marks OUtlET Magazine's 2nd anniversary. This means that there is a reception/ Awards ceremony (Valence Awards... we honor friends and community members for the influence and support)/ performance by MY very own band at the Revolving Museum (@@ Shattuck ST. Lowell, MA) from 7-9PM. No charge at the door, cash bar. Following this is a party at the 119 Gallery (119 Chelmsford St. Lowell, MA) where the bands The Dailey Bros. and Moller are playing, along with DJing by Jeff Borski and myself and video projections by Eric Sack and Steve "Rat" Albert. This should take place form about 9ish until 1:30-2ish. There is a $3 cover charge and any left over beer/wine from the Revolving Museum will be given away for free to those of age. If you stay with us that long, then you will be invited to the secret crazy after party. It will be nothing quite ordinary.
All ages are welcome. You should come. If you can read this and I'm on your friends list or whatever, thgen that means that I want you there, even if you might think I don't. This is the biggest night of my life thus farand I will be honored by the support of anyone who shows up.
Come see us, see the newest issue, see the master copies in all their glory, hear some great music, meet some great people, have a drink or two, relax, have fun, and celebrate two years of the most misanthropic magazine to ever hit the streets.

| Celebrate or ignore |
[16 May 2006|04:51pm] |
"Immediately he regretted the remark, for he heard himself starting to sound like one of the petty mopers who wasted untold priceless moments of their brief stay on this planet complaining about its weather. Unless it was about to cause you bodily harm, rot your rhubarb on the stalk, or carry off your children, weather ought to be either celebrated or ignored..." - Tom Robbins
